Trisha has signed another Telugu film with top hero Venkatesh. It is the remake of the Malayalam hit Bodyguard, which was also made into Kaavalan in Tamil.
The same director Siddique who did it in Malayalam and Tamil is remaking it in Hindi as Bodyguard with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Trisha is doing the role done by Nayanthara and Asin, two of her most bitter rivals in Malayalam and Tamil.
When contacted Trisha said: "I'am doing Bodyguard remake in Telugu opposite Venkatesh and the shoot will start on April 14. In the next couple of days I will be watching Bodyguard and Kaavalan on DVD to get the feel of it."

After a tough fight for acquiring the rights of the sequel of Apthamithra (Kannada version of Rajinikanth’s Chandramukhi) , ‘Aptharakshaka’, producer Bellamkonda Suresh has finally chosen his hero. IndiaGlitz discovers who!
Aptharakshaka, the bumper hit movie in Kannada that is breaking all time Kannada records, will be remade in Telugu by producer Bellamkonda Suresh for his Sri Sai Productions with hero ‘Victory’ Venkatesh. Suresh added that the lead character of the movie will suit Venkatesh’s image.
P.Vasu, who made the super hit ‘Chanti’ with Venkatesh before, will remake his Kannada blockbuster in Telugu. Producer Suresh has planned to start shooting of the movie this May. He further reveals that ‘Aptharakshaka’ is a family entertainer and will suit the taste of Telugu audience. He welcomed the Vasu – Venkatesh combination after a long time and expected to be a blockbuster just like the Kannada version.
Mean while ‘Victory’ Venkatesh is excited about this untitled project. Sources say he saw the Kannada version and would love to do it. Venkatesh would be elated to have his tag ‘Victory’ stuck to him with projects like these. All the best Venky!
