Venkat Prabhu is currently holding talks with a Tollywood superstar (rumoured to be Nagarjuna) for playing another lead role. Yuvanshankar Raja will score the music while Sakthi Saravanan is expected to handle the camera. If all goes well, the project will go on floors in the first week of August. Earlier there were reports that the sensational Anushka will be Ajith's heroine in Mangatha but now it is learnt that Neetu Chandra is likely to play the female lead.

Ajith Kumar-Gowtham project postponed? Ajith after the release of Asal landed in deep trouble because of his controversial speech at the function organized to felicitate the Chief Minister. When this started brewing into a big issue, the Chief Minister put an end to this menace. So there was a speculation among Ajith’s fans whether will he concentrate in his next film or will he participate in the car races. There was news that Ajith will be acting in a film titled Kaval which was to be directed by Gowtham Menon. But now the news is that the shooting of the film will not commence now. Actor Ajith is also preparing himself to participate in the Formula 2 which is to be held in Europe in the month of April. Now he is undergoing severe training to participate in this race.
