The 57th National awards have been announced and when we were among the first to inform you about Ilayaraja's awards, here comes sweeter news. Pasanga, directed by Pandiraj and produced by director Sasi Kumar, has won three National awards for the year 2009. While Pasanga has been chosen as the best Tamil film for 2009, Master Jeeva has bagged the award for the Best Child Artist. Pandiraj has also bagged the award for the Best dialogues.

The film is using a working title. Sasikumar film' for all its purposes till now. Now Sasikumar and company have thought of a title and are seriously considering it. The title under consideration is 'Aaga Chiranthavan’, which means the 'Best of the Bests'.
Moreover, more, according to sources, producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies is likely to acquire the rights over this film.
