The ‘Sandakozhi’ alliance is back. Actor Vishal, director Lingusamy and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja are all set to join hands once again for a yet-to-be-titled movie.
According to sources, shooting of the film will start once Vishal completes his forthcoming venture directed by Prabhu Deva and Lingusamy completes ‘Vettai’ starring Arya and Madhavan.
“Vishal and Lingusamy shared a great rapport during ‘Sandakozhi’ and their chemistry resulted in making the movie a blockbuster. All the songs in the film composed by Yuvan were hits,” sources recall.
Lingusamy and producer Dayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Movies are reportedly upset with Silambarasan. Apparently, the two are irked over the fact that the actor had opted to star in Vaanam and had announced that it would move simultaneously with the Lingusamy project. Lingusamy and Dayanidhi, sources say, are considering replacing Silambarasan for the main role, as they want the actor’s entire concentration on their film.
In the meantime, Silambarasan is camping in Mumbai and holding discussions with percussionist Siva Mani and music director Dharan for Poda Podi. The actor is probably concentrating on Vaanam and Poda Podi.

After the super hit of his Paiyaa, popular Tamil director Lingusamy is now gearing up to commence production of his seventh directorial venture, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
In a recent interview, Lingusamy confirmed: "It will be a bilingual with Silambarasan in the Tamil version and Mahesh Babu in the Telugu version. Dhayanidhi Alagiri will be the producer of the Tamil version, while Tirupati Prasad of Mega Supergood Films will produce the Telugu version. The Tamil version will start rolling in July after Simbu completes the first schedule of Poda Podi, while the Telugu version will commence by September." Currently, the director is busy completing the script.
Meanwhile the latest buzz is that the director has roped in Madhavan to play a prominent role (as Simbu's brother) in the film. An official confirmation is expected soon!
