Director Vishnuvardhan strongly believes that his films has to speak for himself , but the hype that was built around the title 'Arrambam' and the subsequent response that was accorded to the same had encouraged the director to open up a chat with the media , and here are the few points he shared for the media. (Also Read: Ajith's Aarambam Movie Latest Unseen stills)
' Iam glad with the over whelming response i received for the title , the delay was unintentional , but we are glad that in a way that delay also increased the hype around the movie. Ajith plays the central character with an characterization of a valiant warrior. Arya and Nayanthara play important characters that circle around Ajith. Ajith sir is on his popular salt and pepper get up of 'Mankaatha'. (Also Read: Ajith Kumar-Vishnuvardhan movie titled 'Arrambam')
In fact i had requested Ajith sir to introduce that get up in my film only but Venkat prabhu over took me and the rest was history .This look suits Ajith sir so well and i honestly believe no body can match him in this style...This is an action drama, pacy and racy script. It will be much faster than our earlier film together Billa. This film will be an absolute entertainer , not only to Ajith sir's fans but also to classes and masses alike'.

The wait has finally come to an end as the title of Thala Ajith's 53rd has been declared officially. As reported earlier, the film's title begins with the alphabet A. Though a teaser, as promised, is not out yet, the news is out that the film is titled 'Arrambam'.
A simple yet powerful title, symbolizing the beginning of everything big and majestic, the title in itself comes with a bang. It is already known that Ajith has been putting in extra effort to bring out the best in the movie, which will highlight a lot of stunts. With expectations mounting on the movie, the title is sure to increase the curiosity about the film.
Starring Ajith, Nayanthara, Arya and Taapsee in the lead, 'Arrambam' is helmed by Vishnuvardhan, canned by Om Prakash and edited by Sreekar Prasad, while stunts are choreographed by Lee Whitaker, Kaecha, Tinu Varma and Jagan. Music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the audio launch of the movie is expected to be in the month of August, while the movie is tentatively scheduled to release in September.

Vijay - As a true blue Indian, I am obviously rooting for India and looking forward to a fabulous innings by Sachin Tendulkar. Our emerging talent is also an interesting mix. Let's see if they are able to bring the World cup home this year
Trisha - Honestly I don't follow cricket to the T, just on superficial level. But yes, Indian stands a great chance this year Sachin always gives his fans a reason to swoon. I'm actually in Mumbai, shooting 4 Mankatha.
Madhavan - India has a great chance. Sachin will be cautious but effective. The team is playing like one cohesive unit this is fantastic just need one more person to fire apart from Sehwag and Sachin.
Silambarasan- God is always there and I am sure India will win. I want India to win. I love my India
Nayanthara - Being an Indian and a proud one at that, I will be supporting India. We have a strong team of great players. I am looking forward to a clear sweep. I will be hooked onto it from the first ball bowled. I'm hoping India wins the toss and elects to bat.
Genelia - I am an India loyalist and I have my hopes on Virat Kohli. He is a friend and is playing some terrific cricket of late. I am looking forward to loads of excitement and serious sportsmanship.
Arya - Millions of Cricket fans are waiting for India's victory. I too join their prayers.
Tamannaah - I'll be rooting for India and I hope and pray we win.
Dhanush - A blend of young talent and veteran players in sync, it should be a clean sweep for Indians. Unfortunately I am away on shoot or else I would be in Mumbai with my wife to watch the finals.
Vishal- India all the way! Most of our players are in top form and I am confident about India's victory.
Hansilka - Indiaaaaaa! I pray and root for India all the way. I want Captain cool Dhoni to lead the team to glory He is such a deserving captain.
Indrajeet - Yes I feel India has the best chance to lift the cup this time. Dhoni has always been the best in do or die matches and I am sure he will repeat it in the finals as well.

Nayanthara seems to have a special knack for landing in trouble. The pretty actress had been roped in to shake a leg for a cultural program organized by the Malayalam association of film artistes. The function was supposed to happen at Bangalore but the venue had to be changed because it was no longer available since the Cricket World Cup is going on in full swing. There was some confusion regarding the proposed change but finally Kozhikode was settled upon.
Many stalwarts from the Malayalam film fraternity are expected to grace the occasion. With the entire film industry gearing up for this function, Nayanthara’s decision to bow out citing personal reasons has created a furor among the organizers. It is expected that charges will be leveled against her and disciplinary action taken.
Nayan has been keeping a low profile after the stupendous success of her film Boss Engira Baskaran with Arya and is reported to be catching up with family and friends. But controversy, it seems, has overtaken her yet again.
