Nayanthara seems to have a special knack for landing in trouble. The pretty actress had been roped in to shake a leg for a cultural program organized by the Malayalam association of film artistes. The function was supposed to happen at Bangalore but the venue had to be changed because it was no longer available since the Cricket World Cup is going on in full swing. There was some confusion regarding the proposed change but finally Kozhikode was settled upon.
Many stalwarts from the Malayalam film fraternity are expected to grace the occasion. With the entire film industry gearing up for this function, Nayanthara’s decision to bow out citing personal reasons has created a furor among the organizers. It is expected that charges will be leveled against her and disciplinary action taken.
Nayan has been keeping a low profile after the stupendous success of her film Boss Engira Baskaran with Arya and is reported to be catching up with family and friends. But controversy, it seems, has overtaken her yet again.
