The Fourth Annual UniverCell Vijay Awards took place at the Nehru Indoor Stadium on May 29th amidst much fanfare. Kamal Haasan’s forthcoming film, which was initially tentatively titled ‘Yavarum Kelir’, has undergone a name change now. If sources are to be believed, the new title of the movie is ‘Manmadhan Ambu’. Remember one of the lines of the evergreen song ‘Andhi Mazhai Pozhigiradhu…’ from the Ulaga Nayagan’s 100th venture ‘Raaja Parvai’ has the words ‘Manmadhan Ambu’. Tamil Nadu theatre owners and distributors convened an emergency meeting on May 22 in Chennai and unanimously decided to demand that Ilayathalapathi Vijay refund a portion of the money they put up for his 50th film Sura, which bombed at the box office.
